Road Closure - Sunflower Festival
PUBLIC NOTICE
ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE
The following road closures/restrictions will be in effect August 10, 2024 for the Sunflower Festival (Vendors will be given access to the Festival area for loading and unloading only):
· Main Street will be closed from 80 Main Street (Sips) to William Street from 6:00am to 5:00pm.
· Paget Street will be closed from Highway 124 to Main Street from 6:00am to 5:00pm.
· The Municipal Wharf, including Lion’s Park, the gazebo, and dock area will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6:00am to 5:00pm
· The Boat Launch will be closed to vehicular traffic and parking will be unavailable from Friday August 9, 2024 at 4:00pm until Saturday August 10, 2024 at 5:00pm.
· Water Street, Yonge Street, and James Street will be available for pedestrian traffic only from 6:00am to 5:00pm.
Free parking will be available at the SSJ Arena, located at 14 Albert Street North with free shuttle buses running from the Arena to the corner of Paget Street and Highway 124 for easy access to the festival.
Accessible parking will be available in the parking lot of Krep’s Chiropractic Centre located at 10425 Hwy 124
