Burn Permits

Attention Village of Sundridge residents: Campfire permits are now available online.



Things to remember about campfires:

• A fire permit is valid for a full calendar year which means you only need to purchase 1 permit per year
• You must know and follow the Open Air Burning By-Law 
• The Burning By-Law outlines that campfires are allowed between 6:00 pm and 10:00 am – NO daytime campfires
• A permit holder who creates a hazard may be held liable for any and all costs incurred by the Fire Department to extinguish the fire.
• All relevant information regarding campfires, the Burning By-Law, and the Fire Rating can be found online or by contacting the Village Office or the Sundridge-Strong Fire Department.
• If access to the internet is a challenge, you may still pick up your fire permit at the Village of Sundridge Office during regular business hours Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
