To all residents and business owners of the Village of Sundridge,

In its deliberation of the 2017 budget, the Corporation of the Village of Sundridge’s  members of Council have approved the reconstruction of John Street from Highway 124 to Queen St. project.

John Street reconstruction will begin at the end of October/beginning of November and involve storm sewer installations that will impact the travelling public and restrict/detour  traffic flow along the project throughout the day.  Following the underground installation, the roadway will be excavated and reconstructed and finally topped with asphalt.  Final surfacing and landscaping work is scheduled for spring 2018.  As this project is susceptible to weather, and depending on the weather events, some work anticipated to be completed in 2017 may be completed in 2018.

Al Raney, the Village Superintendent, will be overseeing the project. Fowler Construction is the company retained by the Village to perform the work.  The site supervisor for Fowler is Trevor Humphrey.  If you have any concerns in regards to the work being performed, please contact Al at (705) 384-7227.

Please visit the Village of Sundridge’s website for regular updates on the scheduling of work to be completed for this substantial road project.
