Dog Tags

Dog licences are required by February 15th.  After March 31 the licence will be double the regular licence fee.  No owner(s) living at the same address shall keep more that 2 dogs in one household over the age of 12 weeks. Garbage and Recycling

Residents in the Village of Sundridge have both garbage and recycling curbside pick up on Wednesdays.

Both should be put out by 8:00 a.m.  Schedules for recycling are available at the Sundridge Municipal Office.  The hot line number is 1-800-461-4448.


Landfill Information

Gates are installed and a magnetic swipe card is required if you wish to go to the landfill.  This card can be purchased at the Township of Strong for $10.00.  Blue and Green Recycling Containers can be purchased at the Village of Sundridge for $12.00 each. Leaves for disposal should be placed in a biodegradable container. (ie. Cardboard, paper bags).  Non biodegradable bags will not be accepted at the Strong Landfill Site.  Plastic bags are not acceptable.


2017 Hazmat Days – Saturday, May 27 and Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Landfill Site #1 (483 Forest Lake Road)


Landfill Site #1 (483 Forest Lake Road) has partnered with the Canadian Diabetes Association Clothesline Program.  A red bin is located in the Re-Use Centre where you can drop off gently used items: clothing, shoes, linens, towels, toys, games, books, tools, and small appliances (blender, toaster, mixer, iron, etc.)  Proceeds assist the Association in sending diabetic children to summer camp.  The Recycling Centre accepts household batteries such as laptop, cellphone batteries and AAA, AA, C, D, etc.  They also accept florescent light bulbs.
